What does organic quality mean?
Babies who are not or only partly breastfed need a selected formula that is modelled on breast milk. Your baby’s system is still very sensitive. That is why the composition of formula is clearly set out by law. As a basis, cow’s milk is used which provides calcium and valuable proteins. It is important for HiPP that we use products that are as natural as possible and only use strictly controlled organic milk as the base for our organic milk formulae.
More than 40 years of experience
HiPP organic milk formulae have been developed by infant formula specialists, based on the most up-to-date scientific knowledge for over 40 years. By using organic products we are considerably above the requirements by law in the choice of raw products for the production of infant milk formulae.
Greenpeace: Rating "recommended"
Confirmed by Greenpeace: Amongst the biggest and readily available milk formula brand names, only HiPP was awarded the rating – recommended – in the purchasing advice “Milk for children – consumption without genetic engineering” section.
Cultivation of genetically modified plants (also for fodder) is strictly forbidden according to EU Organic Farming Regulation. HiPP also strongly believes that organic cultivation is the best and that it is incompatible with genetic engineering. Our years of experience in processing organic raw products guarantee the best organic quality. More than 600 controls in every production batch mean the highest safety for your baby.
The HiPP Organic Seal
The HiPP Organic Seal stands for the special organic quality that Claus Hipp personally vouches for. It guarantees the highest quality and surpasses EU organic requirements. In addition, in our choice of raw products we are considerably above the strict requirements by law for the production of milk formulae.
